IU COVID DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GUIDANCE
Effective August 1, 2021, until further notice
IU-sponsored domestic travel follows the IU travel policy. Travelers are encouraged to continue making travel arrangements through Travel Management Services designated travel agencies (DTAs), however use of a DTA is not required.
Egencia has built in tools such as the "Travel with confidence" where you can see the latest travel advisories, restrictions, and news updates for destinations you are considering traveling to. This feature allows you to enter a to and from destination, then search. This tool alerts if travelers are being welcomed, if COVID-19 testing is required, VISA requirements, documents required such as proof of vaccines, and additional information like if masks are being required. Egencia also has overall Travel Alerts to countries under travel advisories that are kept in the “Message center” area of the Egencia login in page. When searching hotels, there are “cleaning and safety practices” that are included in the search results, which help highlight what hotels are doing to keep people safe.
Travelers must continue to follow local restrictions and CDC guidance. Visit the CDC's site and review guidance for domestic travelers.
